The Power of Information

A bottled water-free 2011

If you're like most of us here at EWG, you drink filtered tap water when you can. Save money, save the earth -- all good. But when you're at work or on the move, it's not easy to avoid that plastic-wrapped H2O.

EWG can help. Sign EWG's pledge and we’ll make sure you get the tools you need to opt out of plastic glut. We'll also send you actions alerts when your voice can help us make change happen -- in the marketplace, by government or by your local water supplier.

To get started, ask your workplace to check out filtration systems. And, next time you're in a café, ask the waiter -- and, even better, the manager -- for filtered tap water.

Sign EWG's pledge today for cleaner, safer drinking water in 2011!

I pledge to make 2011 a year of cleaner, safer drinking water. I'll pack my reusable water bottle to save money and skip plastic bottles whenever I can. With EWG's help, I'll engage my community to go plastic-free, with filtered tap water at work and in restaurants, and by lobbying my supplier to make my tap water as pure and contaminant-free as possible.
